I started this blog to remind myself (and hopefully others) that there is inspiration and beauty in everyday things, no matter how small or mundane.

Bits and pieces about me; staccato syle: Cooking is my favorite past time. I love and am fiercely proud of my heritage. I enjoy learning about different cultures and religions. I think embracing diversity is essential. I won't tolerate ignorance of any kind. I am a free spirited, optimistic person that lives life to the fullest. You will never catch me out of jeans or in diamonds. I'm far from perfect, aware of it and embrace my flaws for all they are. I'm passionate about many causes that I hold close to my heart. I love art, philosophy, animals, travelling and children. I'm also a writer and an avid reader. I believe education is the cornerstone of evolving our society and protecting our children. I have hope. I believe we are all connected; we are all one and right now, in this very moment, is a wonderful gift.
